Faustino Garin came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Ambizurdos's Leonardo Oihan. But to his dismay, Leonardo Oihan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Marcial Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Bieito in the 32nd minute of play forced Ambizurdos's goalkeeper Marcial Silbestre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Adrian Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot. JPZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Bieito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Silbestre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romeo Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermengildo Canor made a kick off. Leonardo Oihan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Garin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Hermengildo Canor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino Garin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 68th match minute, Ambizurdos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Romano to maneuver through the defense. Ambizurdos's Marcial Silbestre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Ambizurdos from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ambizurdos fans cheered their team off the field, for while JPZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
