Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Club Atlético Talleres's Cleto Bihar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Oeste GBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. When Cornelio Bortzaioriz fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oeste GBA's protests and gave Cornelio Bortzaioriz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Cornelio Bortzaioriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute of the match Norberto Napier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romulo Bikendi skillfully saved the ball. If Fabian Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Cleto Bihar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Lázaro Cugat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Vergaray. After a defensive mix-up in Oeste GBA's zone, Fabian Sauveur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Bikendi came out of the goal and Fabian Sauveur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club Atlético Talleres booed when Oeste GBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Bortzaioriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Sauveur in the 28th minute of play forced Oeste GBA's goalkeeper Romulo Bikendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Lázaro Cugat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Vergaray. In the 31stth minute of the game Denis Fliz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Talleres's Lázaro Cugat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Bihar in the 32nd minute of play forced Oeste GBA's goalkeeper Romulo Bikendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Vergaray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Lázaro Cugat made a huge save. Evaristo Dolfos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. If Cleto Bihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

56 minutes into the match, Ulises Onbera notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atlético Talleres's Lázaro Cugat. Lázaro Cugat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 played minutes, Oeste GBA's Santiago Bernal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lázaro Cugat came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oeste GBA reached it. Aurelio Vergaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Cleto Bihar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romulo Bikendi. The goal made the score 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnoldo Abeijon during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Oeste GBA got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Abeijon. After 87 played minutes Oeste GBA got a freekick which was hit by Damian Guerrero. Club Atlético Talleres's Lázaro Cugat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Vergaray in the 93rd minute of play. Lázaro Cugat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Fliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
