Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Gallinas's Genaro Xacintu in the 17th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fernan Montay was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Fragueyro FC through an amazing save. In the 19th minute of the match Gallinas got a corner. Fragueyro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jens de Vos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Jens de Vos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fragueyro FC's Fernan Montay did a great save. After having played for 20 minutes, Genaro Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Xacintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matias Guerrero scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amador Teyo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Gallinas booed when Fragueyro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Iyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Fragueyro FC's Matias Guerrero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Teyo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Fragueyro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anier Noe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Genaro Xacintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fernan Montay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gallinas's Amador Teyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Gallinas from getting a goal against them. 52 minutes into the match, Genaro Xacintu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Fragueyro FC's Fernan Montay. Fernan Montay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amador Teyo made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Dionisio Roldan sent off a good shot on target. Fernan Montay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Policarpio in the 64th minute of the match. If Mauricio Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Xacintu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Montay having to interfere. In the 68th minute Genaro Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Genaro Xacintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Fragueyro FC's Rigoberto Quintin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amador Teyo. That made the score 1-2 after 74 minutes of play. Mauricio Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Montay having to interfere. After having played for 78 minutes, Genaro Xacintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Xacintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amador Teyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Quintin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Bazil kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fragueyro FC's zone, Anier Noe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Montay came out of the goal and Anier Noe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Genaro Xacintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Montay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Policarpio in the 89th minute of play. Mauricio Policarpio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Fernan Montay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Gallinas had been in control for most of the match, Fragueyro FC still came away with the win.
