Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rigoberto Quintin made the kick off which started today's match. Cornelio Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fragueyro FC's Fernan Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Bikendi in the 11th minute of play. Cornelio Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fernan Montay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, CA Rafaela's Cornelio Diaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernan Montay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With 19 minutes on the clock, Christian Iyan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 18th minute, one of Fragueyro FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fragueyro FC. CA Rafaela's Adrian Bikendi got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Fragueyro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Bizen to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, CA Rafaela's Oscar Ramos tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Adrian Bikendi struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fernan Montay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Rafaela. In the 36th match minute, Fragueyro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Peio to maneuver through the defense. If Cornelio Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Bazil hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Cornelio Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Adrian Bikendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeronimo Bazil charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Bazil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CA Rafaela booed when Fragueyro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Bazil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fragueyro FC's goalkeeper Fernan Montay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half CA Rafaela were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Bikendi to make the kick off. Cornelio Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Montay having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Fragueyro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Bikendi came free, but Fernan Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Matias Guerrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Bikendi in the 67th minute of play forced Fragueyro FC's goalkeeper Fernan Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Bikendi took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernan Montay. Fernan Montay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 73rd minute, Adrian Bikendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Rigoberto Quintin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Bikendi in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernan Montay saved Fragueyro FC from getting behind. Adrian Bikendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Montay having to interfere. The supporters of CA Rafaela booed when Fragueyro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Roldan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Diaz got free with Fernan Montay in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Fragueyro FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rigoberto Quintin hit a great ball. The Fragueyro FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CA Rafaela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
