Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilberto Telmo got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Club Atlético Talleres booed when Tobatirenda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes Tobatirenda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Jeraldo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Galoer in the 6th minute of play forced Club Atlético Talleres's goalkeeper Lázaro Cugat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gilberto Telmo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Tobatirenda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Telmo couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Cleto Bihar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Rico was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Gilberto Telmo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lázaro Cugat. Lázaro Cugat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Bernardino Galoer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Galoer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lázaro Cugat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Flor during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Higinio Odon fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tobatirenda AFC's protests and gave Higinio Odon a yellow card for diving instead. Higinio Odon kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Tobatirenda AFC's Gilberto Telmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Cugat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the match, Tobatirenda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Bihar came free, but Augusto Rico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Santiago Lopez fired a really elegant long shot, but Lázaro Cugat threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Ciro Cordarius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Ospin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Bernardino Galoer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardino Galoer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Lázaro Cugat made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Tobatirenda AFC's Santiago Lopez got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Talleres's zone, Gilberto Telmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Cugat came out of the goal and Gilberto Telmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Cleto Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Talleres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Bihar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atlético Talleres fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tobatirenda AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
