Modesto Luken who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Benito Abreu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Omar Jakue did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Benito Abreu 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Crescencio made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, tirame un caño y te parto's Felix Mattin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Lico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 57th minute, Lino Guter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. tirame un caño y te parto's Benito Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Jaizki in the 60th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Luken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Abreu having to interfere. Modesto Luken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Luken took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Abreu. Benito Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 81st minute, Omar Jakue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, tirame un caño y te parto's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Luken came free, but Benito Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Colón were awarded a corner. Leo Jaizki went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Omar Jakue's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Abreu was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, tirame un caño y te parto's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Jakue came free, but Benito Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colón's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
