Colón's Gerardo Mede got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Fragueyro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Jakue came free, but Fernan Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimeno Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Quintin in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Colón getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Tadeo Bartolome hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Christian Iyan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimeno Lico skillfully saved the ball. In the 24th minute Leo Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Montay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Jaizki in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernan Montay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th play minute Jeronimo Bazil came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jimeno Lico. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Fragueyro FC's zone, Leo Jaizki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Montay came out of the goal and Leo Jaizki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Gerardo Mede in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Modesto Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Luken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Fragueyro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Jaizki came free, but Fernan Montay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Jaizki to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Quintin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jimeno Lico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Mede during the 56th minute. Colón's Jimeno Lico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Bazil in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Quintin in the 82nd minute of play forced Colón's goalkeeper Jimeno Lico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Jakue got free with Fernan Montay in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernan Montay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Jaizki, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Fragueyro FC could leave the field as winners, despite Colón having more of the ball for most of the match.
