Celestino Rafel did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Delmar Ibar 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Oro in the 20th minute of play forced Huasapampa AFC's goalkeeper Ramiro Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Estebe hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Maximino Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huasapampa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Beltran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delmar Ibar was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Celestino Rafel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celestino Rafel really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Reno in the 35th minute of play forced Huasapampa AFC's goalkeeper Ramiro Dantae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Celestino Rafel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Ibar was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 73rdth minute of the game Eustacio Oro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huasapampa AFC's Ramiro Dantae was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melquiades Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Dantae having to interfere. Delmar Ibar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Rafel in the 86th minute of the match. In the 95th minute Maximino Beltran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Ibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximino Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Huasapampa AFC had won after a very even match.
