An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Favila in the 15th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Norte's goalkeeper Teodosio Dolcet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Barreal's Lisandro Estevez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodosio Dolcet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Casimiro Mambru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodosio Dolcet was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Barreal's Casimiro Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benicio Roano to strike the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Valery's late challenge caught a Club Sportivo Norte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Valery helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Mambru got free with Teodosio Dolcet in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Sportivo Norte's Teodosio Dolcet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Club Sportivo Norte from getting a goal against them. Casimiro Mambrus short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Teodosio Dolcet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Casimiro Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Teodosio Dolcet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Roano spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Barreal's goal. Teodosio Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barreal. If Leopoldo Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Mambru struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Teodosio Dolcet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barreal. Casimiro Mambru might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodosio Dolcet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Mambru ran back to his position shaking his head. Lisandro Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Dolcet having to interfere. Barreal's Casimiro Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Casimiro Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barreal's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Mambru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Dolcet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Leopoldo Valery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barreal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.
