An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Hernandez in the 19th minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Segundo Erdiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Erdiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Regis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gregorio Bidari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Aztore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute, Santiago Perrando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Mandril C.F fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Guido Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Edgardo Regis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Mandril C.F's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Regis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Erdiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Fernan Guipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mean Machine's Gregorio Bidari got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The score was 0-2 after a penalty in the 84th minute, where Real Mandril C.F:s Daniel Mouricio tricked Mean Machine:s Segundo Erdiano with a difficult ball by the left post. Guido Hernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Segundo Erdiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
