Spectators: 7281 (Terracing: 5463, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celedonio Cilio started the match with the kick off. Higinio Montes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Eliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Eliu in the 6th minute of play forced Catuna's goalkeeper Higinio Montes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Gauargi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Hustaz in the 9th minute of the match. If Celedonio Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gaston Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Eliu in the 24th minute of the match. Diego Demesio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Diego Demesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juárez AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Catuna's Diego Demesio got a free kick in the 26th minute. Anastasio Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Hustaz in the 28th minute of play. Catuna's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Omar Nafarroa 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Gaston Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Higinio Montes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Higinio Montes managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Juárez AFC's Celedonio Cilio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Omar Nafarroa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Montes was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After having played for 39 minutes, Gaston Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juárez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Elequemedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Montes having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Catuna got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Cordarrol. Emilio Cordarrol hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Higinio Montes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Nafarroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Emilio Cordarrol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Anastasio Gauargi made a huge save. Emilio Cordarrol charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Cordarrol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juárez AFC's Celedonio Cilio got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Danilo Hustaz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Anastasio Gauargi to make any attempt to save it. If Celedonio Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Cordarrol was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 75th match minute, Catuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Cordarrol to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Gaston Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Cilio in the 78th minute of play forced Catuna's goalkeeper Higinio Montes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Catuna's zone, Omar Nafarroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Montes came out of the goal and Omar Nafarroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Juárez AFC's Gaston Elequemedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higinio Montes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Eliu in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Montes saved Catuna from getting behind. Catuna's Higinio Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Cilio in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Juárez AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
