The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Sotero got free with Ramiro Dominix in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Esiquio fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 38th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Keenan Winter's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcial Joanes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ramiro Dominix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Haroldo Diagur was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 70 minutes into the match. Deportivo Villa Castells:s Ramiro Dominix showed great skill when he stopped Rolando Lorencio:s penalty. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by carp's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Toni Kroos was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Villa Castells's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Toni Kroos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcial Joanes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 79th minute, Francisco Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of carp booed when Deportivo Villa Castells was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Karmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Esiquio might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Joanes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Esiquio ran back to his position shaking his head. Roberto Abeijon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Abeijon kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Rolando Lorencio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramiro Dominix. Deportivo Villa Castells's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Orlando Frederik in the 96th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo Villa Castells's Atilano Karmel. carp succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Deportivo Villa Castells had controlled the match.
