In the 15th match minute, Ibáñez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Frasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Dante Resto made a precise shot to the right of Julian Gau. Ibáñez's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Basilio Frasco's late challenge caught a Sacachispas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basilio Frasco helped the player get up and apologised. Basilio Frasco hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Orlando Papo charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Papo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ibáñez's Julian Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Constancio in the 27th minute of play. If Teodoro Nesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sacachispas's Segundo Cordaryal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Sacachispas from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Resto in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Gau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Sacachispas fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Sacachispas's Teodoro Nesto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 42 minutes into the match, Teodoro Nesto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julian Gau. Ibáñez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Nesto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Julian Gau came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Sacachispas's Teodoro Nesto. But to his dismay, Teodoro Nesto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Selmo to make the kick off. With his leg Julian Gau managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Sacachispas's Dante Resto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rosendo Tavio shot from long distance in the 55th minute, but Julian Gau was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Orlando Papo got his second yellow card in the match during the 55th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 56th minute, Orlando Papo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Gau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Constancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Segundo Cordaryal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ibáñez defense, Teodoro Nesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Gau. The Ibáñez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Gau should have stopped the shot. 68 minutes into the game, Marco Constancio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julian Gau. Marco Constancio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. A collision led to Sacachispas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jonatan Eudoxio hit a great ball. Julian Felo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Segundo Cordaryal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Eloy Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Segundo Cordaryal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Gau having to interfere. Sacachispas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
