Eduardo Galo scored 4-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geronimo Lizer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dante Jerold came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Sánchez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Jerold couldn't finish the play.

The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sánchez had played much better football throughout.
