Rigoberto Gaztea hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Geronimo Lizer made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Abelardo Txordon sent off a good shot on target. After 9 played minutes Real Verna F.C got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Quintyn. When Rigoberto Gaztea was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 12 minutes had been played. In the 13th minute, Rigoberto Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Quentin, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A Dos Toques's Haroldo Natal got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guido Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Nofre in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the A Dos Toques defense, Jonatan Nofre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Ticho. The A Dos Toques fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Ticho should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Real Verna F.C's zone, Haroldo Natal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Lizer came out of the goal and Haroldo Natal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Haroldo Natal fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Geronimo Lizer, passed just outside the right post. Haroldo Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Haroldo Natal came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the A Dos Toques fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Natal couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Verna F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Victor Emesto scored to the left of an out of position Geronimo Lizer, making the score, 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Haroldo Natal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Real Verna F.C's zone, Haroldo Natal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Lizer came out of the goal and Haroldo Natal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 52 played minutes Real Verna F.C got a freekick which was hit by Donato Quirce. Donato Quirce hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, A Dos Toques's Severo Quentin tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, Real Verna F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Quirce to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Severo Quentin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geronimo Lizer skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th match minute, A Dos Toques was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Burutzagi to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Ticho having to interfere. Filomeno Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Guido Ticho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guido Ticho made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Jonatan Nofre sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Real Verna F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Emesto came free, but Geronimo Lizer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Lizer having to interfere. With a little luck, A Dos Toques's Guido Ticho got control of the ball when Jonatan Nofre tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Haroldo Natal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Verna F.C's Geronimo Lizer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Haroldo Natal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Geronimo Lizer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Filomeno Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Verna F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Elazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
