White Lion FC's Leonardo Iratze suffered a fractured collar bone after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 20th match minute, Gusanos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, White Lion FC's Marcos Che tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Saverio Cefero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Jordy in the 26th minute. When Gusanos FC's Cristo Arixo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye White Lion FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cristo Arixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Cefero having to interfere. Cristo Arixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Saverio Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carmelo Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Placido Kinsen hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind White Lion FC's goalkeeper Saverio Cefero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Sanchez was the one to do the kick off. Saverio Cefero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Arixo in the 53rd minute of play. Carmelo Sanchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. The supporters of Gusanos FC booed when White Lion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Baumer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cristo Arixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gusanos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Arixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Cefero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Gusanos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching White Lion FC's performance. The match ended with a win for White Lion FC.
