With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Hibai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes, Higinio Demario made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hormiguero's Angel Hibai tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Honorato Mon could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Angel Hibai however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Hormiguero's Reynaldo Tome got a free kick in the 16th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Hormiguero's Rene Oskitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justo Fraco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 28 played minutes Hormiguero got a freekick which was hit by Rene Oskitz. After 30 played minutes, Ferretero's Higinio Patrido shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Angel Hibai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ferretero reached it. Antonio Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Ferretero getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Enzo Reno hit a great ball. Rene Oskitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Demario got free with Angel Hibai in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rene Oskitz struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Justo Fraco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hormiguero.

Justo Fraco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Ospetsu in the 54th minute of play. Justo Fraco made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Rene Oskitz sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, one of Ferretero:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferretero. When Cleto Resto fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferretero's protests and gave Cleto Resto a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ferretero! A collision led to Hormiguero getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dionisio Bastian hit a great ball. Hormiguero's Rene Oskitz got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Ferretero's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Kaiet came free, but Justo Fraco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Honorato Mon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Higinio Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Hibai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hormiguero's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
