Delmiro Beremundo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, Dante Jerold notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chorrillos's Gabriel Clis. Gabriel Clis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Chorrillos's Anier Henry got a free kick in the 10th minute. Eduardo Galo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Clis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Anier Henry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chorrillos and the Sánchez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Chorrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Henry to maneuver through the defense. If Everardo Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Eduardo Galo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Everardo Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Clis having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Everardo Tonete cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gabriel Clis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute Eduardo Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Clis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Everardo Tonete made a precise shot to the right of Gabriel Clis. Chorrillos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Sánchez's Eduardo Galo in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chorrillos's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Clis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Galo's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Hermelando to strike the kick off in the second half. Isidro Silban received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Clis came out and tried to block the shot, but Isidro Silban slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 52nd minute. Ricardo Fernanco kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Dante Jerold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Dante Jerold took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Gabriel Clis to make any attempt to save it. Danilo Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nicanor Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Galo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Clis having to interfere. Eduardo Galo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Clis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everardo Tonete in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Eduardo Galo notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Chorrillos's Gabriel Clis. Gabriel Clis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gabriel Clis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Jerold in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes Chorrillos got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Hermelando. If Everardo Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Sánchez left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chorrillos.
