The supporters of Real Verna F.C booed when Chorrillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Gergori didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Adrian Quintyn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Clis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bernardo Hermelando might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Lizer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Hermelando ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Verna F.C's goalkeeper Geronimo Lizer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Chorrillos's Danilo Rubio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geronimo Lizer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chorrillos's Bernardo Hermelando got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filomeno Elazar to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Chorrillos's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Elazar came free, but Gabriel Clis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Clis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Leonardo Seguinus charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Chorrillos's Gabriel Clis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Elazar in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Chorrillos's goalkeeper Gabriel Clis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Nofre. Jonatan Nofre came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gabriel Clis could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Rubio in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Lizer saved Real Verna F.C from getting behind. A collision led to Real Verna F.C getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Donato Quirce hit a great ball. After taking down the ball on Chorrillos's corner Ricardo Fernanco fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geronimo Lizer quite easily take care of the ball. Gabriel Clis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Nofre in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Filomeno Elazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Real Verna F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Hermelando came free, but Geronimo Lizer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Edgardo Isauro fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
