If Higinio Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 5 minutes into the match, Jonatan Nofre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Justo Fraco. Ferretero's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonatan Nofre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferretero's goalkeeper Justo Fraco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Higinio Demario's late challenge caught a Real Verna F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Demario helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Ferretero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Demario to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Nofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Fraco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonatan Nofre in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Honorato Mon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Lizer was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Higinio Demario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Cleto Resto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Real Verna F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Demario came free, but Geronimo Lizer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ferretero's Honorato Mon in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Verna F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Jonatan Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Fraco having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Demario made a kick off. Filomeno Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Justo Fraco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonatan Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Real Verna F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Gaztea to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Fraco having to interfere. Justo Fraco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Jonatan Nofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ferretero's Enzo Reno got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Adrian Quintyn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ferretero's Justo Fraco didn't even have to move. Justo Fraco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Nofre in the 78th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Manni during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ferretero's Marcial Manni got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Real Verna F.C's Adrian Quintyn broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Adrian Quintyn hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes Real Verna F.C got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Ihazintu. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Verna F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! Geronimo Lizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Demario in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Real Verna F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
