The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Firman during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Chilca booed when Oeste psicodelico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Boni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Sugar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 12 in the game by Iker Galo from a close distance when the talented Jairo Silban managed to make a qualified save. Chilca's players were relieved. Iker Galo might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Silban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iker Galo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fidel Gar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Boni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Sergio Hitzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oeste psicodelico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chilca the free kick. After 23 played minutes Chilca got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Gar. Celso Boni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Sugar in the 25th minute of the match. Jairo Silban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Sabino in the 32nd minute of play. Oeste psicodelico's Celso Boni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Gar in the 36th minute of play. Epifanio Sugar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Epifanio Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sergio Hitzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jairo Silban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute Maximo Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Silban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidel Gar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jairo Silban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Galo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, Maximo Sabino made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Silban. Chilca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 71 minutes into the match, Chilca's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Galo came free, but Jairo Silban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Iker Galo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oeste psicodelico's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
