In the 5th minute, Abel Chaime sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yatai AFC's Victorino Salomon didn't even have to move. CHILALO FC's Cristobal Mikelar got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Samuel Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yatai AFC's Victorino Salomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Pagomari in the 25th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, CHILALO FC's Samuel Pagomari made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorino Salomon was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Pagomari in the 30th minute of play forced Yatai AFC's goalkeeper Victorino Salomon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes CHILALO FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Bemabe. Claudio Bartolome made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Toribio in the 33rd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yatai AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Cristobal Mikelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Victorino Salomon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half CHILALO FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Pagomari to strike the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Toribio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Amancio Sugar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Claudio Bartolome was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abelardo Toribio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Bartolome having to make a save. Emilio Bemabe kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Amancio Sugar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Bartolome. CHILALO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amancio Sugar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When Samuel Pagomari came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the CHILALO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Pagomari couldn't finish the play. If Abelardo Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Mikelar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Jacinto Estevon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CHILALO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yatai AFC the free kick. A collision led to CHILALO FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jacinto Estevon hit a great ball. Yatai AFC's Abelardo Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Cristobal Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHILALO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Mikelar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Salomon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Mikelar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Salomon having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yatai AFC had won after a very even match.
