Cristobal Cuarto made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Benigno Galo sent off a good shot on target. Benigno Galos short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Cristobal Cuarto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benigno Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Cristobal Cuarto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Ubendu in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafin Mercurio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Club Depostivo Español booed when Los Suarez City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aristides Rosalio came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Los Suarez City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Rosalio couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristides Rosalio made a kick off. In the 54th minute Victor Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Benigno Galo made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Cuarto. Club Depostivo Español's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Carolo Florin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Serafin Mercurio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Aristides Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Suarez City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
