After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Samet Gökçek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Higinio Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Sanson in the 4th minute of play forced Castellino City Club's goalkeeper Rodrigo Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes of play, Saldungaray's Arnoldo Sanson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Arias was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute, Arnoldo Sanson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Arias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Samet Gökçek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Higinio Frechoso was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 16 played minutes Saldungaray got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Miliano. Samet Gökçek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Higinio Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Castellino City Club's Rodrigo Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Sanson in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Castellino City Club's Samet Gökçek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Frechoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Tonete in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Castellino City Club's Samet Gökçek dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 36 minutes into the game, Saldungaray's Cleto Tono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Arias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Guillen in the 41st minute of play forced Castellino City Club's goalkeeper Rodrigo Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Cleto Tono notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Castellino City Club's Rodrigo Arias. Rodrigo Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Sanson in the 46th minute of play forced Castellino City Club's goalkeeper Rodrigo Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samet Gökçek to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Luciano Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleto Tono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rodrigo Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Arce hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Remir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Benito Guillen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Arias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 64th match minute, Saldungaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Guillen to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes, Luciano Pirro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castellino City Club and the Saldungaray players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Castellino City Club getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Luciano Pirro hit a great ball. Rodrigo Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Tono in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Castellino City Club's goalkeeper Rodrigo Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Sanson. A collision led to Saldungaray getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Paulo Hernando hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Castellino City Club's goalkeeper Rodrigo Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benito Guillen. Rodrigo Arias was a little too slow when Javier Tonete got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-6. Rodrigo Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Arnoldo Sanson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Rodrigo Arias made a huge save. With a little luck, Castellino City Club's Rodrigo Arias got control of the ball when Benito Guillen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cleto Tono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Saldungaray left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Castellino City Club.
