Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Edwardo kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Dorrego's Alberto Omero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Higinio Frechoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuel Edwardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Frechoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Saldungaray's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Omero came free, but Higinio Frechoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorrego's German Lobo suffered a sore thigh after 28 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cleto Tono was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 29th minute, Cleto Tono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Saldungaray defense, Alberto Omero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Frechoso. The Saldungaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Frechoso should have stopped the shot. Arnoldo Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 59 minutes, Arnoldo Sanson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saldungaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Sanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorrego's Jacobo Remicio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Dorrego from getting a goal against them. Arnoldo Sanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Remicio having to interfere. Arnoldo Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Sanson scored 1-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Remicio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Dorrego's goalkeeper Jacobo Remicio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Sanson. Arnoldo Sanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Dorrego's Wilfredo Michael got a free kick in the 83rd minute.
