If Fermin Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Antinaco's zone, Wilfredo Michael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Pagomari came out of the goal and Wilfredo Michael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Pagomari came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Dorrego's Emanuel Edwardo. But to his dismay, Emanuel Edwardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. German Lobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Pagomari having to interfere. Aldo Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Omero in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Alberto Omero made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Antinaco's Aldo Pagomari tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25thth minute of the game Emanuel Edwardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antinaco's Aldo Pagomari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Pagomari having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Edwardo in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Pagomari saved Antinaco from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Edwardo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldo Pagomari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Omero in the 40th minute of play forced Antinaco's goalkeeper Aldo Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Fernando Ferdinand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Antinaco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dorrego the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Antinaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Ferdinand to maneuver through the defense. If Emanuel Edwardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Pagomari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Omero, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Aldo Pagomari stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Edwardo's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Rosalio made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Emanuel Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorrego's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Edwardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Pagomari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Antinaco's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Omero came free, but Aldo Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 62nd minute of the match Fernando Ferdinand completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fernando Ferdinand a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Antinaco's Fernando Ferdinand got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dorrego's Emanuel Edwardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aldo Pagomari. That made the score 0-3 after 64 minutes of play. Dorrego's Alberto Omero got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Edwardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Pagomari was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Alberto Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Pagomari having to interfere. Alberto Omero struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Aldo Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dorrego. Alberto Omero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Aldo Pagomari made a huge save. When the match was over Dorrego could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Antinaco throughout the match.
