Spectators: 7284 (Terracing: 5465, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernabe Venerando took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dorrego's Wilfredo Michael got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Omero got free with Eustacio Baleren in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Omero's late challenge caught a Samuhú AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Omero helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes Dorrego got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Omero. Eustacio Baleren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Edwardo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, German Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dorrego's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Lobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Omero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Eustacio Baleren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Alberto Omero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dorrego's zone, Bernabe Venerando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Remicio came out of the goal and Bernabe Venerando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Emanuel Edwardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Emanuel Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Edwardo made a kick off. The supporters of Dorrego booed when Samuhú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Elazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Samuhú AFC's Leonides Normando got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Emanuel Edwardo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Dorrego fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Edwardo couldn't finish the play.
