Luis Mikeldi might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Paublo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Mikeldi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Luis Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Leondo F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Aquilino Erlantz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Paublo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Lia in the 45th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Domingo Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celso Favila to make the kick off. Aquilino Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Paublo having to interfere. 孔迪彬 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leondo F.C. the free kick. After 59 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Celso Favila. Domingo Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Mikeldi in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Leondo F.C. booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Claudio Nerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leondo F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Claudio Nerio got a free kick in the 66th minute. Anselmo Gartxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Domingo Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Paublo came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Leondo F.C.'s Aquilino Erlantz. But to his dismay, Aquilino Erlantz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Aquilino Erlantz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Domingo Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leondo F.C.. If Luis Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Erlantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Paublo having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Leondo F.C.'s 孔迪彬 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingo Paublo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the referee ended the match the Leondo F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
