Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maximino Seguinus got the match started through his kick off. Aive's Santos Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Seguinus in the 8th minute of play. When Delmar Eguerdi came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Armonía FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Eguerdi couldn't finish the play. Severo Loramendi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Aive booed when Armonía FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Eguerdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ciriaco Urritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aive's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Urritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Quinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciriaco Urritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Quinto having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Armonía FC's Delmar Eguerdi got a free kick in the 19th minute. Emiliano Quinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Loramendi in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Seguinus in the 32nd minute of play forced Aive's goalkeeper Santos Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes, Delmar Eguerdi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Armonía FC and the Aive players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Armonía FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Eguerdi. Santos Ponce made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Gonzalo Osoro sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th match minute, Aive was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Uhin to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Seguinus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonzalo Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gonzalo Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Ponce having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ciriaco Urritz made the kick off in the second half. Santos Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Osoro in the 54th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ciriaco Urritz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emiliano Quinto. That made the score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. If Ciriaco Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonzalo Osoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingo Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Ponce having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Narciso Aureo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Aive getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Saverio Petri hit a great ball. Bernardino Cambranes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Aive's goalkeeper Santos Ponce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Loramendi got free with Emiliano Quinto in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emiliano Quinto was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Ciriaco Urritz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciriaco Urritz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Santos Ponce came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Armonía FC's Domingo Belarmo. But to his dismay, Domingo Belarmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gonzalo Osoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Aive supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aive would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
