When Honorio Napier came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Leones F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorio Napier couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Basilio Gauargi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Circulo de Brujas's goalkeeper Feliciano Qwinton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Napier. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Honorio Napier sped through Circulo de Brujas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feliciano Qwinton. Feliciano Qwinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Gauargi in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Raimundo Misael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Circulo de Brujas's zone, Marco Guillelmus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Qwinton came out of the goal and Marco Guillelmus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Leones F.C's Honorio Napier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Eyague to make the kick off. Leones F.C's Basilio Gauargi got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marco Guillelmus came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Leones F.C fans jumped to their feet. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Leones F.C's Marco Guillelmus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliciano Qwinton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The Leones F.C fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Leones F.C's Honorio Napier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Leones F.C's Ambrosio Ereinotz got control of the ball when Amadeo Raymon tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Honorio Napier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Napier struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Feliciano Qwinton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leones F.C. Marco Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 89th minute, Honorio Napier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliciano Qwinton was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 93 minutes into the match, Circulo de Brujas's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Gauargi came free, but Feliciano Qwinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Qwinton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Guillelmus's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When Leones F.C's Honorio Napier in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Circulo de Brujas's goalie prevented a goal.
