After a defensive mix-up in El Ojo de Horus's zone, Benicio Leheren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Garcia came out of the goal and Benicio Leheren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, Aquilesbeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Roland to maneuver through the defense. Benicio Leheren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernan Vachon was the one to do the kick off. Aquilino Cristos thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Faustino Garcia, a very annoying self made goal in the 51st minute which led to 2-0. When Aquilesbeta's Fernan Vachon in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Ojo de Horus's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Aquilesbeta's Benicio Leheren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustino Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Vachon in the 86th minute of play forced El Ojo de Horus's goalkeeper Faustino Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Fernan Vachon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aquilesbeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Aquilesbeta's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
