If Domingo Dino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malvinas FC's Lucio Grabiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Quico in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Dario Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LEPRA12's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Bernaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Malvinas FC's Lucio Grabiel got control of the ball when Dario Bernaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucio Grabiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. LEPRA12's Cleto Obano got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over LEPRA12 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Malvinas FC throughout the match.
