Ernesto Oier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Silverio Lehior made a huge save. Celestino Niva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Lehior read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Ernesto Oier fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 7th minute, Celestino Niva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silverio Lehior. The goal made the score 1-0. After 10 played minutes, Real Favaloro's Simon Txatxu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silverio Lehior came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Favaloro reached it. Ermegildo Dubardo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match, Celestino Niva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Silverio Lehior saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Los churros's zone, Ernesto Oier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Lehior came out of the goal and Ernesto Oier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Real Favaloro's Celestino Niva was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 29 played minutes Real Favaloro got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Padro. In the 31st match minute, Los churros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Uxio to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Franco was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Romeo Cebo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Favaloro's goalkeeper Hector Paulin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Los churros booed when Real Favaloro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Padro didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celestino Niva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Octavio Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Oier in the 57th minute of play. Celestino Niva struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Silverio Lehior didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Favaloro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Galtero in the 60th minute of play forced Real Favaloro's goalkeeper Hector Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Celestino Niva came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Real Favaloro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Niva couldn't finish the play. 64 minutes into the match, Real Favaloro's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Dubardo came free, but Hector Paulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Celestino Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Oier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Silverio Lehior tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Niva in the 72nd minute of play forced Los churros's goalkeeper Silverio Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes of play, Real Favaloro's Celestino Niva made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silverio Lehior was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Oier in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Lehior saved Los churros from getting behind. Sebastian Ferdinand hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Celestino Niva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Lehior was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After 82 minutes, Celestino Niva made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Los churros's Silverio Lehior tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Simon Txatxu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silverio Lehior. Los churros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Silverio Lehior didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernesto Oier went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When Fabricio Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Real Favaloro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Favaloro fully deserved thier win.
