When Tomás Ulizes fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinará AFC's protests and gave Tomás Ulizes a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Ulizes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Sporting Club Palermo's attack was well implemented in the 30th minute, but when Lino Guerrero was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. A collision led to Vinará AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Fabio Ursino hit a great ball. Lino Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinará AFC's Ubaldo Diagur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Bordat in the 35th minute of play. Lino Guerrero struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ubaldo Diagur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Club Palermo. When Lino Guerrero came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Sporting Club Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Guerrero couldn't finish the play. If Angelino Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Bordat to strike the kick off in the second half. Angelino Bordat took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ubaldo Diagur. Ubaldo Diagur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ubaldo Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Bordat in the 58th minute of play. Tomás Ulizes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubaldo Diagur came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Club Palermo's Angelino Bordat. But to his dismay, Angelino Bordat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 70 minutes into the match, Vinará AFC's Tomás Ulizes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Bela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomás Ulizes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arnoldo Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Guerrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Diagur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Vinará AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Bordat came free, but Ubaldo Diagur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
