Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Raul Hondo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Angelino Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angelino Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Aaron Hats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Angelino Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Club Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelino Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Hats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Palermo's Inocencio Francis got a free kick in the 12th minute. Placido Eguzkis short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Arnoldo Bela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Raul Hondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Ramirez charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Ramirez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Benito Ramirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Hats having to interfere. The supporters of Sporting Club Palermo booed when El Equipo Del Tío was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Santikurtz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes, Alvaro Hulberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Equipo Del Tío and the Sporting Club Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alvaro Hulberto kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. During the 44th minute of the match Benito Ramirez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benito Ramirez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Benito Ramirez hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Sporting Club Palermo's Lino Guerrero in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelino Bordat made a kick off. Lino Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Hats was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Angelino Bordat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 63 minute of play. Aaron Hats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelino Bordat in the 74th minute of the match. Arnoldo Bela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Eguzki in the 77th minute of the match. Placido Eguzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Placido Eguzki's late challenge caught a Sporting Club Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Eguzki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Placido Eguzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Aaron Hats managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Sporting Club Palermo's Lino Guerrero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Guerrero got free with Aaron Hats in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sporting Club Palermo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
