An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Bras in the 20th minute of play forced Cangallo FC's goalkeeper Nestor Quirze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Bras to make the kick off. Epifanio Tonete hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Marcial Pinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Xabat. Sportivo Desamparados's Lucas Xabat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Vasco in the 95th minute of play. Cangallo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
