Nereo Abalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Alejandro Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algarrobal's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Chepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Abalos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nereo Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Onbera in the 26th minute of play. If Braulio Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Bonadona's late challenge caught a Gutemberg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Bonadona helped the player get up and apologised. Honorio Bonadona kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Gutemberg FC's Nereo Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Onbera in the 34th minute of play. Julio Stephen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hilario Gonzalez made the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Chepe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 53rd playminute. Hilario Gonzalez hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gutemberg FC's zone, Conrado Onbera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Abalos came out of the goal and Conrado Onbera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hilario Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jimeno Illart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gutemberg FC's Braulio Milio got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hilario Gonzalez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nereo Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Onbera in the 74th minute of the match. Nereo Abalos was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Conrado Onbera capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Conrado Onbera really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Alejandro Chepe might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Abalos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejandro Chepe ran back to his position shaking his head. If Alejandro Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
