Anastasio Erramun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 10th minute, Felipe Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Gonzalez in the 11th minute of the match. Victor Nuñez hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Braulio Milio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anastasio Erramun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cleto Erauso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Abalos was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Cleto Erauso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Txartiko scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Abalos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cleto Erauso came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Corazon Millonario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Erauso couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gutemberg FC's Julio Stephen got a free kick in the 31st minute. Cecilio Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Julio Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Erramun having to interfere. When Apolo Frechoso fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corazon Millonario's protests and gave Apolo Frechoso a yellow card for diving instead. Nereo Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Erauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Erauso was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Cleto Erauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nereo Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Erauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Oier kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hilario Gonzalez in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Erramun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleto Erauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Abalos having to interfere. Julio Stephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th of the match, Hilario Gonzalez tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Anastasio Erramun got in the way and made a wonderful save. When Braulio Milio came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Gutemberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Milio couldn't finish the play. Corazon Millonario's Anastasio Erramun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Corazon Millonario from getting a goal against them. Cleto Erauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Abalos having to interfere. Hilario Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Erramun having to interfere. Gutemberg FC's Nereo Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Txartiko in the 98th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
