Jimeno Illart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Feo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Honorio Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosario Central's Gervasio Vistruario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Onbera in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Elvio Neron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Algarrobal the free kick. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Elvio Neron hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Alejandro Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algarrobal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Chepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alejandro Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algarrobal's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Chepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Mauricio Goizeder fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Algarrobal's protests and gave Mauricio Goizeder a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of Algarrobal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rosario Central:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Conrado Onbera made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Conrado Onbera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Algarrobal's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Onbera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Vistruario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejandro Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goalkeeper Gervasio Vistruario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejandro Chepe. Conrado Onbera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejandro Chepe got free with Gervasio Vistruario in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th play minute Alejandro Chepe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gervasio Vistruario. 2-1. After having played for 71 minutes, Sergio Iaki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Iaki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match Elvio Neron sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimeno Illart skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central's zone, Alejandro Chepe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Vistruario came out of the goal and Alejandro Chepe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Conrado Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alejandro Chepe came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Algarrobal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Chepe couldn't finish the play. The Algarrobal fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Algarrobal's Conrado Onbera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 92nd minute, Guillermo Maore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Feo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Illart having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Algarrobal failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
