After 22 minutes, Cecilio Napier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corazon Millonario and the Babilonia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cecilio Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Anastasio Erramun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Anastasio Erramun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antonio Javiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Erramun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonio Javiar ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcial Chayo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcial Chayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Anastasio Erramun made a huge save. If Marcial Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Javiar in the 82nd minute of the match. Felix Txartiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Llorienzo having to interfere. The Babilonia AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Babilonia AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
