Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) BAYAHIBE's Fermin Iigo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, BAYAHIBE's Matias Walme got control of the ball when Leo Gorbea tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Florencio Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Iigo took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Edorta. Guido Edorta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, BAYAHIBE's Marcial Petri broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Guido Edorta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Iigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bermejo getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tomás Edorta hit a great ball. Patricio Vitin charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Vitin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bermejo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for BAYAHIBE. Marcial Petri stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Guido Edorta. 0-2. If Agustin Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fermin Iigo during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes BAYAHIBE got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Iigo. 40 minutes into the game, Pablo Romelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bermejo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BAYAHIBE the free kick. Pablo Romelio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Bermejo's Guido Edorta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Iigo in the 47th minute of play. The Bermejo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BAYAHIBE were winning 0-2.
The wind increased when Florencio Bernal made the kick off in the second half. Agustin Mundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fermin Iigo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guido Edorta came out and tried to block the shot, but Fermin Iigo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. Bermejo's Leo Gorbea got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Walme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Agustin Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 80 minutes, Fermin Iigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BAYAHIBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Iigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florencio Bernal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Walme having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, BAYAHIBE's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Gorbea came free, but Matias Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Mundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Guido Edorta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BAYAHIBE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
