When Cerrito's Silverio Sesuldo in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cirilo Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Sesuldo in the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Nemesio Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverio Sesuldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cirilo Emmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nemesio Afonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Cirilo Emmanuel made a huge save. Cirilo Emmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Sesuldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cerrito's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Higinio Baleren in the 31st minute. Higinio Baleren made a great header on Cerrito's corner, it was just that Manchester City's Cirilo Emmanuel managed to reach the ball for a save. Nemesio Afonso scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cirilo Emmanuel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oscar Asur charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Asur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cerrito getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Oscar Asur hit a great ball. If Silverio Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After having played for 51 minutes, Silverio Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerrito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silverio Sesuldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Sesuldo in the 53rd minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Cirilo Emmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Silverio Sesuldo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Cerrito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Sesuldo couldn't finish the play. Cirilo Emmanuel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Afonso's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Cerrito's Herminio Roldanillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Pitin in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silverio Sesuldo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Emmanuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 63 played minutes Manchester City got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Raebert. If Nemesio Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Emmanuel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Sesuldo in the 69th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Lázaro Eneas made a precise shot to the right of Herminio Roldanillo. Cerrito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 88 minutes into the match, Nemesio Afonso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cirilo Emmanuel. Manchester City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Afonso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Silverio Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cerrito had played much better football throughout.
