Clemente Christobal might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Bernabel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Christobal ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaspar Bernabel came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by La Náusea's Wilfredo Gasteiz. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Gasteiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Clemente Christobal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Gasteiz in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Bernabel saved Atl. Libertador from getting behind. If Honorato Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Bernabel made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Clemente Christobal sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Atl. Libertador defense, Clemente Christobal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Bernabel. The Atl. Libertador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Bernabel should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Atl. Libertador's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Gasteiz came free, but Gaspar Bernabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, La Náusea's Clemente Christobal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaspar Bernabel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 31 minutes, Clemente Christobal made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atl. Libertador's Gaspar Bernabel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilfredo Gasteiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Bernabel having to interfere. If Wilfredo Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Gasteiz to make the kick off. When Clemente Christobal came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the La Náusea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Christobal couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the game, Julio Orixe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atl. Libertador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Náusea the free kick. The supporters of La Náusea booed when Atl. Libertador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Orixe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Christobal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Clemente Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Wilfredo Gasteiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Náusea's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Gasteiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Bernabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaspar Bernabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Christobal in the 84th minute of the match. Gaspar Bernabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Gasteiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Clemente Christobal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Bernabel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Christobal in the 94th minute of the match. Clemente Christobal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Bernabel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that La Náusea were the better team. La Náusea's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
