Rafael Edorta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Rafael Edorta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Afonso in the 64th minute of the match. Cerrito's Nemesio Afonso got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cerrito fans cheered their team off the field, for while Toledo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
