Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Chañaritas FC's Gaspar Palban started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isaac Salamon kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. If Ivan Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Ivan Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Claude having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match Angelino Quinton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Claude showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jesus Ursino fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañaritas FC's protests and gave Jesus Ursino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chañaritas FC's Jesus Ursino got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Isaac Salamon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Odol in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Claude prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Ivan Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Rene Odol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Elequemedo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Omar Claude didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lafinur FC. 42 minutes into the match, Chañaritas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Odol came free, but Omar Claude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Elequemedo was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Higinio Lando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lafinur FC and the Chañaritas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lafinur FC's Higinio Lando got a free kick in the 54th minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Ivan Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lafinur FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Elequemedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hector Chago came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Lafinur FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Chago couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 68 in the game by Ivan Elequemedo from a close distance when the talented Omar Claude managed to make a qualified save. Chañaritas FC's players were relieved. Lafinur FC's Luciano Calvet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Palban in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Lafinur FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rene Odol hit a great ball. If Ivan Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Elequemedo didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-1 via right post in the game's 90th minute. Lafinur FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Eduardo Luix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Lafinur FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lafinur FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
