In the 54th minute, Paulo Tartalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Fonda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Generoso Fonda came out of the goal and Prudencio Chuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind LoboMendoza's goalkeeper Hilario Aguirre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hilario Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Eron in the 71st minute of play. Héroes de la Pala's Generoso Fonda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Tartalo in the 95th minute of play.
