Spectators: 7174 (Terracing: 5382, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eduardo Abeitia got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Dios Querido's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Eron came free, but Ulises Odol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dios Querido's Raimundo Chano got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th match minute, Héroes de la Pala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Casomiro to maneuver through the defense. Eduardo Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Fonda having to interfere. Eduardo Abeitia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Generoso Fonda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Generoso Fonda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Abeitia in the 16th minute of play. Dios Querido's Ulises Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Flor in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Eron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Odol was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Héroes de la Pala's zone, Nestor Lander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Fonda came out of the goal and Nestor Lander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guillermo Guerau was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, one of Héroes de la Pala:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Melchor Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nestor Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Nestor Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Fonda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Abeitia struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Generoso Fonda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dios Querido. In the 56th minute Tomas Lalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Fonda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Macario hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Melchor Flor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Odol having to interfere. Melchor Flor came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ulises Odol could save by the left post. Leonardo Paublo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes Dios Querido got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Peru. Melchor Flor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulises Odol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dios Querido had won after a very even match.
