LoboMendoza's Hilario Aguirre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save LoboMendoza from getting a goal against them. Sergio Intxixu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Intxixu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eduardo Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Aguirre having to interfere. LoboMendoza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dios Querido the free kick. Leonardo Paublo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 33 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Hilario Aguirre right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Nestor Lander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dios Querido's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Lander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Aguirre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergio Intxixu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Abeitia in the 45th minute of play. Sergio Intxixu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Prudencio Chuse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Prudencio Chuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raimundo Chano kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Dios Querido's goalkeeper Ulises Odol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Chuse. When Leonardo Paublo fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dios Querido's protests and gave Leonardo Paublo a yellow card for diving instead. Leonardo Paublo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Prudencio Chuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. LoboMendoza's Hilario Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Lander in the 81st minute of play. Nestor Lander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilario Aguirre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LoboMendoza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
