When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Victoriano Mambru sped through La Banda De Carlitos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alejo Steven. 18 minutes into the match, Cabildo's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Vachon came free, but Anacleto Laurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Marco Vachon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Cabildo's goalkeeper Anacleto Laurin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Nisio. In the 30th match minute, La Banda De Carlitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Raitin to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Everardo Abilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejo Steven was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Alejo Steven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Mambru in the 35th minute of play. Ariel Francho's late challenge caught a Cabildo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Francho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Ariel Francho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cabildo's Victoriano Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, La Banda De Carlitos's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Mambru came free, but Alejo Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Victoriano Mambru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabildo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in La Banda De Carlitos's zone, Victoriano Mambru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Steven came out of the goal and Victoriano Mambru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Abilio made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Everardo Abilio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabildo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Abilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Everardo Abilio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejo Steven. That made the score 0-3 in the 60 minute of play. A collision led to Cabildo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Andres Ioritz hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Marco Vachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Mambru struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Alejo Steven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabildo. In the 73rd minute Everardo Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Everardo Abilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabildo's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Abilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Steven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Andres Ioritz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alejo Steven. The goal made the score 0-4. If Victoriano Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Everardo Abilio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejo Steven. That made the score 0-5 in the 89 minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, La Banda De Carlitos's goalkeeper Alejo Steven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Mambru.
