Clodoveo Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Frasquito in the 9th minute of the match. If Ahmet Drame had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Oxel's late challenge caught a Héroes de la Pala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melquiades Oxel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ticosis FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Melquiades Oxel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ticosis FC's Carlos Vasco got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Melchor Flor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clodoveo Toribio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Ticosis FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Carolo Cerilo hit a great ball. When Melchor Flor came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Héroes de la Pala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Flor couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evert Forssberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 69 played minutes Ticosis FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Lluques. After 75 minutes of play Ticosis FC's Melquiades Oxel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Ticosis FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Melquiades Oxel hit a great ball. Carolo Cerilo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Melchor Flor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Toribio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clodoveo Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Eron in the 92nd minute of play. Jaime Oxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Toribio having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Héroes de la Pala players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
